Overview
Our Effective Professional Development course is a blended programme of face to face workshops and online webinars dedicated to helping you implement the guidance given in the EEF report. The course will consist of direct learning, practical analysis sessions and online study and research. Whether developing completely new CPD plans, or adapting existing ones into new contexts, the course is tailored to help schools improve their development offering, and as such their overall educational experience.
The course covers the following key points:
- The EEF’s findings on Professional Development practices in schools.
- What the evidence says about Professional Development, and how it has affected practice over the years.
- The key mechanisms that drive impactful, effective Professional Development.
- Using this evidence and mechanisms to develop a Professional Development that’s in line with school improvement priorities.
